Livro: "NY COSMOS X FAST CLUBE: 1980. UM JOGO DE FUTEBOL GRANDIOSO EM MANAUS"

This book was motivated by the incessant demands of Amazonian and Amazonian sportsmen who wished to find compiled the grandiose and historic soccer game that happened in April 1980 (40 years old), between the American soccer team NY Cosmos and the Amazonian National Fast Club (founded in 1930, 90 years jubilee), to which we dedicate this work. Because there is a lot of information scattered in newspapers and magazines from 1980 and on current social media, it was necessary to condense it in a book, showing the public the whole story, including what preceded the big game, from the preliminary contacts between the leaders of the two associations, behind the scenes, government authorizations, among other information that only a few people had access to. As it was a great and historic game, we included photos of the time, coverage of newspapers and magazines; details of the preliminary and main game, as well as commenting on the history of New York Cosmos, Fast Club, Estádio Vivaldo Lima, Amazonian football of the eighties, among other subjects. We apologize to our readers for any errors or omissions, however, rest assured, it was prepared with great care and love for the history of football in Amazonas and that serves as a source of research for the new generation of sportsmen.
